Political impacts are really not to be spoken on because it seems as if the problem is only getting worse and our leaders such as government are not really trying to put effort into this specific topic and they’re not really interested in making changes. Everything else but racial profiling matters. Recently a lawsuit was filed recently to gain legislation and to stop racial profiling ; but so far there has not been much luck. Racial profiling has taken a toll on economics. Many started boycotting their stores, and as they did so, it was a decrease in the quality of products and lower productivity rates. This impacted several businesses and also caused the loss of jobs. Environmentally, racial profiling broke apart several environments and polluted them as well. A personal experience I have is me and my family. Around my neighborhood there is always trash on the streets, debris flying everywhere, and not too many people seem to be concerned. So my mother and sister took matters into their own hands and began to frequently clean the community up, and go around picking up trash every week, so they went to the community center and asked could their help be turned into a job, but being the color they are, and my sister nine months pregnant at the time, they were denied and the excuse was they didn’t want my sister inhaling all those toxins, but the law states that most states prohibit pregnancy discrimination. At the same time, they never gave my mother, whom was greatly capable, a reason as to why she was denied.
